Alenda Golf Course Costa Blanca

Alenda Golf Course

Alenda is situated in the mountains behind the city of Elche. A great course which will be enjoyed by both the golfer and the non golfer. The 18 holes offer a real challenge as you navigate the large bunkers and water hazards that are placed around this lovely course. The mountains add to the picturesque setting and the imposing club house is always in view as you start to think about the 19th!

Ideas for the Non Golfer

  • For the shoppers amongst you try the out of town shopping district of Elche which includes the L’Aljub Mall, the El Corte Ingles department store and the Salvador Artesano shoe factory, which is Europe’s largest shoe shop!
  • Visit the city centre and explore all that Elche has to offer, like the Archaeological and History Museum or the Huerto del Cura with the famous Imperial Palm. You can even climb the bell tower of the main cathedral called the Basilica de Santa Maria.
  • Take a drive to the nearby El Hondo Nature Park, which is a protected wetland environment. There is a visitor’s centre with information about the fauna and flora of the park, picnic tables and a flat 4 kilometre walking route which is easy to follow.
