Villamartin Golf Course

Villamartin Golf Course

The golf course at Villamartin is set right in the heart of its urbanisations. This course was the very first one to be built in this area and was inaugurated in 1972. Very mature, the course is well laid out and offers the golfer plenty of opportunity to think out each shot. Not the tidiest clubhouse in the circuit, but many opportunities to enjoy a drink in any of the bars in the plaza situated 150 metres up the road.

Ideas for the Non Golfer

  • Head down to any of the beaches of the Orihuela Costa like La Zenia, there is also Dehesa de Campoamor, Cabo Roig, Playa Flamenca or Punta Prima to choose from. At any of these you can enjoy great walks, great sandy blue flag beaches and plenty of restaurants and cafes.
  • Enjoy a leisurely lunch in any of the bars and restaurants situated in the popular Villamartin Plaza just 150 metres up the road.
  • Spend the morning in the town of Torrevieja and enjoy a walk along its 1.6 kilometre pier! A good bit of exercise with some stunning views over the sea as you walk out and a totally different view of the Torrevieja skyline as you walk back!
