The Calendars of Events are completely dominated by Easter, there are over 20 Parade programmes!! From Friday the 12th April through to Easter Sunday on the 21st April. There are day time, night time, silent, bare feet, candle lit and even drum processions! Many of the fiestas have been declared as being of International Tourist Interest, so are well worth experiencing.

Costa Blanca South

There are small Easter Parades in Guardamar del Segura, Dolores, Catral, Santa Pola, Los Montesinos and Pilar de la Horadada. The processions in Torrevieja and Almoradi have both been declared as being of Tourist Interest, whilst the much larger celebrations in Orihuela, Crevillent, Alicante and Elche are all listed as International Tourist Interest. The White Palm Market will take place on Friday and Saturday in Elche and it is the last weekend of the Vamos de Tapas Route in Torrevieja.

Costa Calida

The Easter Parades in San Pedro del Pinatar are of Regional Tourist Interest and the large Easter Parades in the cities of Cartagena and Murcia are of International Tourist Interest. The ear splitting Tamborada will take place next week in Mula and Moratalla, and the 9th International Tapas Route starts on Friday in Los Urrutias. The Free Guided Visits continue through out the Region of Murcia as part of their year long Tu Visita Guiada programme.

Costa Blanca North

The Easter Parades start in the towns of Calpe, Benidorm, Teulada and Moraira. There is a Sea Exhibition at the Marina in Javea, and a Traditional and Gastronomic Market in Finestrat.
