Ideas for the Non Golfer

  • Head into the city of Murica for a true flavour of this area and embark on our Murcia city walking route, which allows you to discover the city square by square. Start your visit by admiring the famous Basilica before enjoying a traditional ‘Menu del Dia’ in any one of the many restaurants.
  • Pack a picnic and head over the mountain pass into the El Valle Regional Park. There are many places to visit within the park like the beautiful Fuensanta Sanctuary which has stunning views out over the city of Murcia. You can also visit the San Antonio de Podre Hermitage, enjoy a coffee at the Centro de Luz visitors centre, or simply take a picnic and have a leisurely lunch in the picnic area before exploring the Arboretum.
  • Sample a bit of 'rural Murcia' and spend some time in Balsicas. Take a stroll through this typical village, have a wander around the old castle or discover the church square and small park with its palms and bougainvillea.
