Saurines Las Terrazas de la Torre Golf Course

Saurines de la Torre Golf Course is also known as Las Terrazas de la Torre Golf Resort. It is an ex Polaris World course, so is now owned and managed by GNK. The 18 hole, par 72 desert style course was designed by Jack Nicklaus, and contains many features that are very similar to his famous Las Vegas courses.  It has undulating fairways and an abundance of desert dunes. There is a very large lake along the shores of which, both holes 9 and 18 run, ensuring a thrilling end to any round of golf!

Ideas for the Non Golfer

  • Spend the day discovering the Mar Menor. Stop at any of the little villages that line it's shores like Punta Brava with its viewpoint, there is also Mar de Cristal, Playa Honda and Los Urrutias to choose from. Enjoy a coffee or a meal in any of them.
  • Spend the morning on Saturday at the market in Torre Pacheco before driving to the Marina in San Pedro del Pinatar for lunch.
  • Have a short drive to Santiago de la Ribera and take the B&F Ferry across to the other side of the Mar Menor. The boat journey takes about 40 minutes in each direction; you can either stay on the boat or enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants at the marina before heading back.
